OpenStreetMap

DashScene uses map data and map tiles from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Data Commons Open Database License.

Overture Maps Schema

DashScene’s business category taxonomy includes material adapted from the Overture Maps schema, © Overture Maps Foundation contributors, licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Changes were made for use in DashScene.

Public Information Sources

DashScene uses public information from government agencies, transit agencies, weather services, and other public data providers. This information may include local conditions, alerts, transit schedules, service updates, and related notices.

Placenames

Natural Resources Canada

DashScene uses place name information from Natural Resources Canada, including GeoGratis and Canadian Geographical Names Database information. This information is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Canada.

Transit

Société de transport de l'Outaouais

DashScene may use transit data from the Société de transport de l'Outaouais. STO open data and API use are subject to the STO Open Data and API Terms of Use.

Halifax Transit

DashScene may use transit data from Halifax Transit through Halifax Regional Municipality Open Data. Use of this information is subject to the Halifax Regional Municipality Open Data Licence.

OC Transpo

DashScene may use transit data from OC Transpo. OC Transpo API access is subject to OC Transpo’s developer terms, and data obtained through the API is licensed under the City of Ottawa Open Data Licence Version 2.0.

TransLink Metro Vancouver

DashScene may use transit data from TransLink Metro Vancouver. Use of TransLink Open API data is subject to the TransLink Open API Terms of Use.

BC Transit

DashScene may use transit data from BC Transit, including Victoria Regional Transit data. BC Transit GTFS data is subject to the BC Transit Open Data Terms of Use.

Calgary Transit

DashScene may use transit data from Calgary Transit through Open Calgary. Use of this information is subject to the Open Calgary Terms of Use.

Edmonton Transit Service

DashScene may use transit data from Edmonton Transit Service through the City of Edmonton Open Data Portal. Edmonton open data is subject to the City of Edmonton Open Data Terms of Use.

Toronto Transit Commission

DashScene may use transit data from the Toronto Transit Commission through Toronto Open Data. Toronto open data is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Toronto.

GO Transit and Union Pearson Express

DashScene may use transit data from GO Transit and Union Pearson Express through Metrolinx Open Data. Metrolinx open data is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Ontario – Metrolinx.

VIA Rail Canada

DashScene may use rail schedule data from VIA Rail Canada. VIA Rail GTFS data data is licensed under the Open Government Licence – Canada Version 2.0.

T3 Transit (Charlottetown, PE)

DashScene may use transit schedule information provided directly by T3 Transit. Use of this information is subject to any applicable provider terms or permissions.

Weather

Environment and Climate Change Canada

DashScene uses public weather information from Environment and Climate Change Canada and the Meteorological Service of Canada, including current conditions, forecasts, weather alerts, radar, lightning, and related observation information. This information is licensed under the Environment and Climate Change Canada Data Servers End-use Licence.

Official weather alert content is reproduced without altering the content or intent of the alert.

Public Emergency Alerts

National Alert Aggregation and Dissemination System (Canada)

DashScene uses public emergency alert information from the National Alert Aggregation and Dissemination System, operated by Pelmorex Communications Inc. Alert content is issued by authorized Canadian government agencies and distributed through the NAAD System for public alerting.

Use of NAAD alert information is subject to the applicable NAAD terms and conditions of use.
